I liked the Restaurant (Buffet) and the Cafe. The food was lovely and the staff of both were friendly, helpful and lovely.

The attendants at your front desk were the worst we had met in the month we have been staying in Alberta!! (The females). They were not very friendly and quite frankly seemed like they didn't want to be there. We had to ask for any information, no information was given without first being asked. They should inform all customers of the wonderful buffet restaurant and cafe available for meals and where and when etc. It is a real asset to your business. We received the invoice under the door after our second night in your hotel, but we were booked for 3! I rang down to reception, who put me on hold for a very long time, so I hung up. They rang back and said there was a muck up, but no apologies given. Later that day we could not get into our room as our cards were locked out because of the mistake and them thinking we were checking out. I think it is very rude that you put the invoice under the door, even though it is designed for speed. People contact is important, and most of the time when checking out of a hotel the key is handed in at the front desk and the bill settled. Very disapointed with your staff on the front counter! A smile and a friendly attitude would go a long way in their line of work. I am a secretary in a primary school and have worked in numerous front line positions, so understand how important it is to greet customers correctly..

The guy at reception when we checked in was very polite and gave us alot of information about where the pool and gym where. The bar staff were very friendly.

There was a noise in our room which sounded like someone was trying to get. We put this down to noisey air conditioning, but it was loud enough to wake you up. Also the young lady on reception when we checked out was not very friendly, she didnt smile once. Reception for a place for unfriendly and non smiley people, puts you off going into the hotel.

I thought the price was high, and when I tried to use my AMA, they told me that I already had the best deal, I didn't think that $150.00 a night was a deal!!!

It is located in an easily accessible area and not too far from the Calgary zoo The rooms are comfortable. The night auditor was very nice and easy to talk to. I liked the amenities that are provided. The hotel in general is very nice with lots to do.

Unfortunately we were next to a man (Geologist) who liked to work graveyard shift in his room while listening to very loud music. The first night we experienced this we let it go as he turned off the music at 4:30 AM. The second night we really needed a good nights rest as we were driving back to Regina with our 5 month old baby girl and 5 year old boy so at 11:00PM we asked the night auditor to have the man turn down his music. We knew EXACTLY what room the music was coming from, but despite me giving the night auditor the correct room number, the security guy insisted the music was coming from another room. At 2:30AM the music was still keeping us awake, but when I confronted the security guy he refused to tell the Geologist to turn down his music because it didn't sound that loud to him in the Hallway. Although he agreed it appeared to be quite loud in our room when I asked the security guy to listen from our room. He offered to give us another room, but that would have meant waking up our 5 year old and baby, plus reassembling the baby's playpen where she lay sleeping. Waking up the children was not an option. So I asked for ear plugs. We were given ear plugs, but surprisingly enough, the music was so loud we could still hear it with our earplugs in and could feel the vibration from the base. Finally at 5:00AM my husband couldn't take it anymore and told security if security doesn't do anything, my husband will. My husband is a 6 foot 220 pound man not afraid of much. He said if Geologist man causes any trouble he'll be calling the police. Well, the security guy FINALLY asked Geologist man to turn down the music. Which he did, but believe me, not without a lot of fuss and a bunch of threats that he will go elsewhere. Irregardless, we finally got to sleep at around 5:30AM and slept in until 10:00AM and barely made it out before being charged for another day!!!
